Global Poverty Action is focused on the issue of water and
sanitation in the Liban Zone of southern Ethiopia. Our work is
practical, project based, and yields concrete, measurable results.
The pastoralist people of the Liban Zone are the most under-served
population in the country that has consistently had the poorest
access to water in the world. GPA is poised to help where the need
is truly the greatest.
In 2011-2012 we are undertaking our biggest
project ever – providing water sources and sanitation education in
17 Kebeles in the Moyale and Hudat Woredas that will provide 100,000
people with safe, easily accessed drinking water who currently walk
days for contaminated water. Please
help by donating now. Giving |
